How Lead360 helps

Lead360 Tasks gives staff a clear record of what must happen, who owns it, when it is due, and which customer or business record provides context. Tasks reduce informal handoffs and make follow-up visible without sending customer communication automatically.

When to use this area

Use Tasks for human work that needs an owner and due date, especially when the next step depends on judgment, research, approval, or an offline action.

Before you begin

  • Link the task to the correct contact or business record.
  • Write a specific outcome rather than a vague reminder.
  • Choose an owner and realistic due date.

Review the workload

  1. Use All, Due Today, Overdue, or Upcoming to focus the table, then search by task title.
  2. Each row shows status, title, description, associated contact, assignee, due date, and available actions.

Create a task

  1. Use Add Task and write an action-focused title. Add only the description needed to complete the work.
  2. Choose the correct contact, assign the responsible team member, and set a realistic due date and time.
  3. Save the task, then confirm it appears in the expected status tab and timezone.

Maintain tasks

  1. Complete work when it is actually finished. Reassign or reschedule stale work instead of creating duplicates.
  2. Review the contact and task history before deleting a task that may be part of a staff handoff.

Use Ask360 here

Ask360 can list tasks and prepare one task or a batch of up to 10. It resolves contacts by full name, email, or phone and staff by name or email, then waits for each review card to be accepted.

Confirm the result

A completed Tasks workflow should be visible in the product area that owns the final record. Use these checks before relying on the result or moving to the next customer-facing step.

  • Confirm the task appears for the assigned person.
  • Check the due date and linked record.
  • Complete the task only after the underlying work is finished and any result is recorded in the correct feature.

Troubleshooting

A teammate cannot see the task

Check assignment, sub-account membership, record access, and active filters.

A completed task did not change a customer record

Task completion records human progress only. Update the appointment, opportunity, conversation, or contact separately when required.
