How Lead360 helps

Piece memory binding connects governed knowledge to a specific draft revision without mutating published versions. Administrators can select an immutable Memory Set for stable context and supported Learning Collections or insights for eligible learning while live values remain in operational tools.

When to use this workflow

Use this workflow after memory has been reviewed and the Piece role defines the exact knowledge it needs.

Before you begin

Start with the exact sub-account and the smallest set of permissions, records, and resources required for the task.

  • Create the reviewed available snapshot and immutable Memory Set.
  • Confirm the Piece draft and consumer role.
  • Separate stable knowledge from live values and eligible learning.

Complete the workflow

Follow the steps in order and stop when a required resource, permission, review, or approval is missing.

  1. Open the intended Piece draft and Business data or memory binding area.
  2. Review the current memory resource and its exact identifiers.
  3. Choose the approved Memory Set and any supported eligible learning resources.
  4. Save a new draft revision without changing the published version.
  5. Validate and test expected, excluded, stale, and missing-source questions in Arena.

Understand the key controls

Draft-only change

Binding memory creates or updates a draft revision and does not alter immutable published versions.

Exact stable source

A Memory Set gives the revision a reproducible list of reviewed file revisions.

Live and learning layers

Learning Collections can change with eligible evidence, while current operational values must come from live tools.

Confirm the result

Do not rely on a success message alone. Confirm the saved state and any live effect in the product area that owns the final record.

  • Confirm the saved draft references the intended resource identifiers.
  • Test answer source and exclusion boundaries.
  • Publish and update consumers only after review.

Troubleshooting

The Piece cannot retrieve a file

Check review, snapshot availability, Memory Set membership, binding, and query language.

Published behavior did not change

The change is still in a draft or the consumer remains on an older published version.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change memory on a published Piece?

Create a new draft revision with the new binding, validate and test it, then publish and update consumers explicitly.

Can a Piece use all Memory Brain files automatically?

Use an intentional Memory Set or supported binding. The role should receive only the knowledge it needs.
