How Lead360 helps

Business data tells a Piece where approved context comes from. The setup can combine reviewed Memory Sets for stable knowledge with supported live tools for current prices, availability, customer records, payments, and other changing values, without turning stored knowledge into operational permission.

When to use this workflow

Use Business data after the Piece role and capabilities are defined and the exact knowledge and live sources can be selected.

Before you begin

Start with the exact sub-account and the smallest set of permissions, records, and resources required for the task.

  • Classify each source as stable reviewed knowledge or changing live data.
  • Verify ownership, tenant scope, and minimum required resource access.
  • Review privacy, retention, credential, and customer-data restrictions.

Complete the workflow

Follow the steps in order and stop when a required resource, permission, review, or approval is missing.

  1. Open the Piece draft and select Business data.
  2. Choose approved connectors and tenant resources needed by the role.
  3. Select an immutable Memory Set or other supported reviewed memory binding.
  4. Keep changing values connected to their live owning tools.
  5. Save the revision and test expected, stale, missing, and unauthorized data scenarios.

Understand the key controls

Reviewed memory

A Memory Set contains exact reviewed file revisions and does not change as the broader Memory Brain evolves.

Live values

Current availability, prices, booking links, balances, payment states, and record statuses should be read from live tools.

Credentials

Passwords, tokens, API keys, and provider secrets never belong in business data or memory files.

Confirm the result

Do not rely on a success message alone. Confirm the saved state and any live effect in the product area that owns the final record.

  • Confirm every source belongs to the current sub-account.
  • Check source timestamps and Memory Set contents.
  • Test that the Piece refuses or escalates when required data is unavailable.

Troubleshooting

The Piece answers from old business data

Review Memory Set revision contents and use a live tool for changing values. Create a new draft binding when reviewed knowledge changes.

A connected resource is empty

Check tenant mapping, provider authorization, selected resource, capability, and whether the current user can read it.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Piece use both memory and live Lead360 data?

Yes. Use reviewed memory for stable context and supported live tools for changing operational values.

Does attaching business data grant write access?

No. Write authority comes from separate capabilities, user permissions, effect policies, and operation controls.
