How Lead360 helps

The Piece builder turns an internal business role into a governed draft. Its five setup steps keep identity, tools, reviewed knowledge, instructions, and safety boundaries separate, while model selection and validation prepare the revision for realistic Arena testing.

When to use this workflow

Use the builder to create a new Piece, start from a supported template, use Build with Ask360 to prepare a proposal, or revise an unpublished role for the current sub-account.

Before you begin

Start with the exact sub-account and the smallest set of permissions, records, and resources required for the task.

  • Define one role, audience, owner, and measurable outcome.
  • List approved capabilities, connectors, business resources, and reviewed memory.
  • Document prohibited behavior, escalation, and publication approvers.

Complete the workflow

Follow the steps in order and stop when a required resource, permission, review, or approval is missing.

  1. Open Ask360 Piece Studio and create a Piece.
  2. Choose Build with Ask360, a supported template, file or folder input, or a blank start.
  3. Complete Identity, Capabilities, Business data, Behavior, and Safety in order.
  4. Choose the supported model settings for the role.
  5. Save the draft revision, validate it, and move into Arena testing.

Understand the key controls

Draft revisions

Builder changes create or update a draft revision. They do not silently replace an immutable published version.

Build with Ask360

The assisted path prepares a proposal that still requires review. It does not grant unavailable tools or publish on behalf of the administrator.

Resource separation

Capabilities allow operations, while business data and memory provide context. One does not substitute for the other.

Confirm the result

Do not rely on a success message alone. Confirm the saved state and any live effect in the product area that owns the final record.

  • Review every builder step from the saved revision.
  • Confirm selected resources belong to the intended sub-account.
  • Run validation and resolve errors before Arena testing.

Troubleshooting

The builder cannot continue

Complete required identity, capability, resource, behavior, and safety fields and resolve any unavailable selection.

A template includes irrelevant behavior

Remove unneeded capabilities, resources, and instructions and test the smallest role instead of accepting the template unchanged.

Frequently asked questions

Does Build with Ask360 publish the Piece?

No. It prepares a draft proposal. The revision must be reviewed, validated, tested, certified where required, and published explicitly.

Can one Piece serve every business role?

A focused role is easier to authorize, test, and maintain. Create separate Pieces when audiences, tools, knowledge, or safety boundaries differ materially.
