How Lead360 helps
Lead360 Opportunities represents a specific revenue or service outcome connected to a contact, pipeline, stage, owner, value, and status. It gives teams a consistent record for prioritizing work and understanding progress without replacing the underlying conversation, appointment, or payment evidence.
When to use this area
Use an Opportunity when a customer has a trackable sales or delivery outcome that should move through defined stages and have a clear owner.
Before you begin
- Confirm the contact and pipeline.
- Choose the stage that describes current reality, not the hoped-for next step.
- Enter an evidence-based value and assign an owner.
Read the board
- Each card is one opportunity linked to an existing contact. Columns are stages; the number beside a stage is its opportunity count and the amount below it is its total deal value.
- Scroll across to see every stage and within a column to see more cards. A card shows the contact or opportunity name, status, value, owner, open tasks, unread conversations, and missed-call indicators.
Find and review opportunities
- Search by contact or opportunity name. Filters narrow the board by stage, status, campaign, or value range; Export downloads the filtered result.
- Open a card to review and edit its stage, status, value, source, business name, tags, notes, appointments, and contact context. The call and conversation icons continue work with that contact.
Add an opportunity
- Click Add Opportunity and select an existing contact by name, email, or phone. Create a missing person in Contacts first.
- Confirm the opportunity name, exact stage, Open, Won, Lost, or Abandoned status, optional value and source, business name, tags, and notes, then create it.
Move and close accurately
- Drag a card or edit its Stage only after the real-world milestone is complete. A stage move may trigger connected automations.
- Use Won only for a completed sale and Lost or Abandoned for the correct closed outcome. Keep value, source, notes, and stage current so board totals and reporting remain useful.
Use Ask360 here
Ask360 can summarize and filter the live board, find an opportunity by contact full name, email, phone, or deal name, and prepare up to 10 opportunity creations or updates. It can move a card, update status, name, value, source, business name, or notes. Every live change is a separate Accept or Decline review card. It never deletes an opportunity, sends a message, or charges a payment from this help flow.
Confirm the result
A completed How Opportunities work workflow should be visible in the product area that owns the final record. Use these checks before relying on the result or moving to the next customer-facing step.
- Open the opportunity and confirm contact, stage, owner, value, and status.
- Check that the next task or follow-up is recorded.
- Reconcile won or lost status with the actual appointment, agreement, or payment evidence.
Troubleshooting
An opportunity appears in the wrong stage
Review the last manual or automated update and compare the stage definition with the current customer state.
Pipeline totals look incorrect
Check duplicate opportunities, currency, stale values, date filters, and whether won or lost records are included.
