How Lead360 helps
Lead360 Email Templates gives teams reusable, reviewed message content with approved branding, links, variables, and compliance elements. Templates reduce inconsistent copy while keeping each actual send dependent on the correct recipient, purpose, consent, and campaign or conversation context.
When to use this area
Use Email Templates for repeatable transactional or marketing messages that staff or automations should personalize from controlled data.
Before you begin
- Define the message purpose and whether it is transactional or commercial.
- Use approved sender identity, subject, body, variables, links, and unsubscribe behavior.
- Prepare fallback text for missing values and a plain-text-friendly structure.
Build the template
- Use a recognizable internal name, exact audience, sending purpose, subject, and one primary customer action.
- Create both HTML and Text modes so the message remains understandable when images or rich formatting are unavailable.
- Include required business identity, consent or unsubscribe content, and a monitored reply path.
Use variables safely
- Insert only variables listed in the builder.
- Email-system variables support delivery behavior; contact and business variables personalize the intended recipient and sender context.
- Use sample preview data and readable fallback copy so missing values cannot produce a broken message.
Preview and test
- Check desktop and mobile layouts, links, images, alt text, contrast, line length, buttons, plain-text output, sender identity, unsubscribe behavior, and replies.
- Saving a template does not send it or attach it to an automation. Use a controlled delivery test only from the authorized sending workflow.
Use Ask360 here
Ask360 can explain variables and prepare one reviewed template create or update when supported. It waits for Accept and never sends an email, publishes or enables an automation, changes Email Settings, or invents an unsupported merge field.
Confirm the result
A completed Email Templates workflow should be visible in the product area that owns the final record. Use these checks before relying on the result or moving to the next customer-facing step.
- Send tests to major email clients and mobile widths.
- Check every variable, link, image alt text, sender field, and footer.
- Confirm consent, suppression, unsubscribe, tracking, and delivery behavior for the intended send type.
Troubleshooting
A variable appears blank
Check its field mapping, fallback, contact data, and the rendering context used by the sender.
The message is clipped or marked as spam
Reduce unnecessary markup and size, verify authentication and sender reputation, and review content and link patterns.
