How Lead360 helps
Lead360 Email Settings controls the sender identities, provider connection, authentication context, and shared delivery behavior used by supported email workflows. Correct setup improves recognizable sending and gives staff a clear place to investigate delivery without exposing provider credentials.
When to use this area
Use Email Settings during sender setup, domain or provider changes, and when email delivery, authentication, or reputation needs review.
Before you begin
- Verify ownership of the sending domain and mailbox.
- Prepare approved sender names, addresses, reply handling, and DNS records.
- Separate transactional and commercial communication requirements.
Choose the sending method
- For a sending domain, enter the domain and add every displayed DNS record at the domain provider.
- For SMTP, choose the provider and enter the authorized email, app password, host, and port.
- Do not paste a normal mailbox password when the provider requires an app password.
Verify before sending
- Wait for DNS propagation and confirm the domain shows verified.
- Confirm the From address and reply destination are monitored.
- Send a controlled test to major mailbox providers.
- Check SPF, DKIM, links, images, merge fields, unsubscribe behavior, and replies.
Protect deliverability
Review daily and monthly usage, consent, bounce and complaint rates, suppression behavior, and sending reputation before increasing volume.
Use Ask360 here
Ask360 can explain DNS records, sender status, limits, delivery errors, and a controlled verification plan. It never requests mailbox passwords, edits DNS, sends a campaign, changes suppression records, or stores SMTP credentials in chat.
Confirm the result
A completed Email Settings workflow should be visible in the product area that owns the final record. Use these checks before relying on the result or moving to the next customer-facing step.
- Use a controlled test recipient.
- Review provider authentication and delivery evidence.
- Check sender display, replies, unsubscribe behavior, links, and mobile rendering.
Troubleshooting
Messages fail authentication
Review provider connection and the exact SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records published for the sending domain.
Recipients cannot unsubscribe
Confirm every commercial workflow includes a working global opt-out and that suppression is enforced before the next send.
