How Lead360 helps

Lead360 Contacts keeps the customer profile, communication details, tags, custom fields, assignments, tasks, opportunities, and related activity connected to one record. Teams gain a dependable place to confirm identity and context before communication, automation, booking, or sales work.

When to use this area

Use Contacts to create or correct a customer, review their history, organize the record, and open the related workflows that depend on accurate identity data.

Before you begin

  • Search by email and phone number to avoid duplicate records.
  • Confirm the lawful and operational reason for collecting each field.
  • Check whether the value belongs in a standard field, custom field, tag, note, or related object.

Find and review contacts

  1. Search by name, email, phone, company, or another visible field. Use Filters for source, tags, location, dates, contact methods, campaigns, activity, and custom rules.
  2. Use Manage Fields to choose and arrange the columns needed for this view. Open a contact before editing so conversations, appointments, opportunities, payments, and activity stay attached to the correct person.

Add or import contacts

  1. Use Add Contact for one person. Search first, then enter the verified name, primary email or phone, source, tags, consent, address, and any useful custom fields.
  2. Use Import for a reviewed CSV batch. Map every column, preview the rows, and confirm duplicate handling before starting the import.
  3. Use Export only for the intended filtered audience and handle the downloaded customer data according to business privacy rules.

Keep records reliable

  1. Use tags and structured fields consistently so Smart Lists, automations, and reports match the intended audience.
  2. Before deleting or merging, review conversations, appointments, opportunities, payments, tasks, and automation history. Those destructive actions are not available through this help flow.

Use Ask360 here

Ask360 can find people by full name, email, or phone and prepare one new contact or a batch of up to 10. It checks duplicate email and phone values and creates nothing until each review card is accepted.

Confirm the result

A completed Contacts workflow should be visible in the product area that owns the final record. Use these checks before relying on the result or moving to the next customer-facing step.

  • Reopen the saved contact and confirm normalized email and phone values.
  • Check tags, custom fields, assignment, and consent-related fields.
  • Review dependent Smart Lists, automations, appointments, and opportunities when a key value changes.

Troubleshooting

A duplicate contact exists

Compare identifiers and related activity before merging or correcting records. Do not delete a record until ownership and downstream references are understood.

A field is missing

Check Custom Fields and Objects for the current sub-account, then confirm your role can view or edit the field.
