Lead360 Legal
Lead360 Communications Policy
Requirements for lawful email, SMS, voice, chat, social, automated messages, recording, consent evidence, and opt-out handling.
Customers are responsible for lawful consent, sender identification, recording notices, channel rules, and globally enforced opt-outs for every communication sent through Lead360.
Roles and responsibility
The customer is the sender, caller, and content owner for communications initiated through its Lead360 account. Lead360 provides software and transmission integrations but does not determine the customer audience, purpose, timing, offer, or legal basis. Customers must comply with laws and provider rules in every sender and recipient location.
Consent and evidence
Before sending a message or placing a call, the customer must have the consent or other lawful basis required for that channel and purpose. Consent must be specific enough for the sender, content, channel, and frequency. Pre-checked boxes, bundled consent, or a business relationship may not be sufficient in every location.
- Record the consent language shown to the person.
- Record the date, time, source URL, form, keyword, event, or other collection method.
- Record the phone number, email, channel, business identity, purpose, and any disclosed frequency.
- Preserve changes, withdrawals, STOP messages, unsubscribe events, and do-not-contact requests.
- Be able to produce the evidence to a provider, regulator, recipient, or Lead360 when required.
Message identification and content
Commercial messages must clearly identify the business and include accurate contact information. Subject lines, caller ID, sender domains, offers, pricing, urgency, and claims must not be deceptive. Required carrier, message-frequency, message-and-data-rate, help, privacy, and terms disclosures must be included where applicable.
Email unsubscribe requirements
Marketing email must include a clear, conspicuous, working, and no-cost unsubscribe method. Requests must be honored within the legally required period. For Canadian commercial electronic messages, unsubscribe requests must be implemented within 10 business days or less. Lead360 recommends immediate suppression.
A customer must not require login, payment, or unnecessary information to unsubscribe. Transactional messages must not be used to evade a marketing opt-out.
SMS, messaging apps, and STOP
SMS and messaging campaigns must support recognized opt-out language such as STOP and help language such as HELP where required. The customer must stop promotional messages after an opt-out and may send only the confirmation or legally permitted service messages. Opt-in and opt-out keywords, quiet hours, number registration, campaign registration, and content rules vary by carrier and country.
Calls, automated dialing, and recording
Customers must comply with do-not-call lists, calling-hour restrictions, caller identification, prerecorded-message, automated-dialing, and telemarketing rules. Consent for one type of call may not authorize another. Emergency numbers and services must not be used for marketing.
Before recording, transcribing, analyzing, or monitoring a call or meeting, the customer must provide required notice and obtain the consent required in every relevant jurisdiction. A customer must not rely only on a Lead360 setting as proof that recording is lawful.
Automated and AI-assisted communications
Customers must disclose bot or automated interaction where required and must provide a reasonable human escalation route for material issues. AI-generated content must be reviewed for accuracy, appropriateness, consent, promises, claims, and prohibited discrimination. A bot must not falsely claim it is human.
Global suppression across systems
Lead360, customer-built automations, and connected providers may keep separate records. An opt-out received in one inbox, campaign, phone provider, social service, imported list, or external CRM may not automatically update every other destination. The customer must maintain a dependable suppression process across all channels and integrations before launching or resuming communications.
Before each campaign, reconcile current consent and suppression records. Do not assume that importing, deleting, archiving, or hiding a contact is equivalent to a global opt-out.
Provider enforcement
Telecommunications, email, social, and payment providers may require registration, review, deposits, content limits, or evidence. They may filter, reject, suspend, or charge for traffic. Lead360 may set limits, require proof, stop campaigns, or suspend communication features to protect recipients, networks, and service availability.
